.HOG files are used by Descent 1/2 and they contain other files. These are two of the most common:

.rdl / .rl2 These are the actual level files. The are VERY necessary.
.pog POG files include custom graphics with a level. Descent2 v1.2 is
necessary in order to play these levels.


DMB2 HAS A BUILT IN .HOG EDITOR!!

Import pog files created in DTX2.
On the fly file renaming.
All within DMB2
